BILLY COULTER CELEBRATES DEBUT CD RELEASE THIS SUNDAY
Silver Spring Blues-Roots Rock Venue Hosts Event

After a 20-year absence from original music, Washington, DC area native Billy Coulter will be celebrating the debut of his self-titled CD at Half Moon BBQ in Silver Spring. The show will take place from 7 to 9 pm on January 25, 2004.

All of the 12 songs on the CD released through Confluence Records were written by Coulter and produced in part by keyboardist Steve Thoma (Fleetwood Mac, Glenn Frey) and by five-time Washington Area Music Award (Wammie) winner, Marco Delmar. Coulter’s band was also recently nominated for the “Best New Artist” Wammie award.

Backed by players from legendary DC rock stalwarts like Tommy Keene’s band and Cravin’ Dogs, Coulter has built a group that defines the ideal balance of American Roots and British Classic Rock. This band slams out a passionate, organic sound with crunchy guitars and rich vocals, backed by a commanding rhythm section.

Half Moon BBQ, is located at 8235 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland. Doors will open at 5 pm Sunday for dinner before the show.
